RAID Recovery
Specialized data recovery for all RAID configurations including RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, and 50. We recover business-critical data from multiple disk failures, controller faults, and array corruption.
Comprehensive RAID Failure Recovery
We safely reconstruct arrays without relying on the original hardware to prevent further damage.
Multiple Drive Failure
More drives failed than the RAID redundancy allows.
Controller Failure
Hardware RAID controller died or lost configuration.
Rebuild Failure
Array crashed while attempting to rebuild after a drive swap.
Logical Corruption
Accidental volume deletion, formatting, or malware.

Our Recovery Process
Evaluation
We review the array type, member disks, controller, and the sequence of events (failure, rebuild, reconfiguration) to understand the current state.
Diagnosis
Each member disk is assessed individually for physical or logical faults; unhealthy disks are stabilised and imaged before any array work.
Recovery attempt
Working from disk images, we reconstruct the original array parameters — disk order, stripe size, parity rotation and offsets — virtually, so the original disks are never altered, then rebuild the logical volume to extract the data.
Verification
The reconstructed volume and its file systems are validated for integrity and structure.
Secure return
Recovered data is returned on suitable media and all member disks and data are handled confidentially throughout.
Supported RAID Levels & Hardware
RAID 0, 1, 5, 6
Standard configurations
Nested RAID (10, 50, 60)
Enterprise architectures
Hardware RAID
Dell, HP, IBM, LSI controllers
Software RAID
Linux mdadm, Windows Dynamic Disks
Signs of RAID Imminent Failure
- Array status shows "Degraded" or "Offline"
- Server completely unresponsive
- RAID controller beeping
- Missing volumes in OS
What To Do First — And What To Avoid
Do not force another rebuild onto a degraded or failed array — a bad rebuild can overwrite recoverable data.
Do not re-initialise, re-create or reconfigure the array, and do not let the controller auto-rebuild if you are unsure.
Label the disks with their original bay/slot order before removing anything.
Do not run repair utilities against the array volume until the failure is understood.
Power the system down safely, keep the member disks together, and submit a request describing the RAID level and what happened.
